Construction on seven luxury condominiums in Georgetown with views of the Potomac River and the Kennedy Center will wrap up by mid-September.
Located at 1055 Wisconsin Ave. NW,
1055 High will feature three- and four-bedroom residences that range from 3,300 to 4,400 square feet. The property’s amenities include a glass-enclosed, rooftop fitness center, a 45-foot outdoor pool and a secluded garden with an entertaining area.
Developers Eastbanc and Willco Companies haven’t set exact prices yet, but the residences will start at $3 million and cap at $5 million, says project manager Erin Mullan. Beyer Blinder Belle is the project’s architect.
The property also has two retail spaces with 800 and 1,200 square feet.
“There’s not a better location. It’s smack in the center of Georgetown,” Mullan says.
The condominiums are located at the intersection of the C&O Canal and Wisconsin Avenue, near Waterfront Park and M Street. The project is dubbed 1055 High because High Street was the name of Wisconsin Avenue prior to 1895.
