A new bakery is coming to Brookland.
Bakers’ Lounge, a bakery at 2701 12
th Street NE, plans to open tomorrow,
The Brookland Bridge reports.
Owner Catherine Cotay began the bakery as a virtual operation in 2012. Among the offerings are cookies, cakes, cupcakes and English puddings like Trifle. There will be a monthly High Tea and a room for children’s parties and other events. The bakery also does event catering.
