CALL FOR ENTRIES - Elevation DC seeks mastheads

We're looking for artists who live or work in D.C. and have a fresh perspective to share.
(Having trouble reading the image above? No problem - enlarge it by clicking here.)

We are Elevation DC - a weekly online magazine celebrating what's next for the city. (If you are reading this, you might already know this.)

We are looking for D.C-based artists who want their work to reach our audience of passionate D.C. residents interested in what's next in the city's growth.

So we're holding a contest for our next masthead.

Here's what we're looking for:
Art in any medium--painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture or, really, anything--will be considered.

Though we're called Elevation DC, your work doesn't have to depict D.C. In fact, if you paint/draw/etc in a representative style, we don't want to see monuments and cherry blossoms. Show us a side of D.C. that we haven't seen before--or just wow us with your non-representative works.
Need inspiration? Take a look at the mastheads previously published on http://elevationdcmedia.com.

Winners receive:
  • Image published once in our weekly newsletter (Newsletter will also include your work's title, your name, and a link to your webpage)
  • Image published on our homepage. It will be the "lead image" for one week, and then remain in rotation for a month more (Will include your work's title, your name, and a link to your webpage)
  • Image published for one week on our Facebook page as a header image
  • A Facebook post will include your work's title, your name, and a link to your webpage
  • Your bio published on our homepage for the week that the image is our "lead image"
