D.C. is the second-best U.S. city in which to find a job, according to a new ranking from personal finance website
Wallethub.
The District ranks 7th nationally in terms of labor force growth, 6th for job openings per capita, 3rd for percentage of the workforce employed full-time and 2nd for median starting salary.
And, as D.C. residents know and Wallethub reminds the rest of us, these jobs aren't just in the government. According to Wallethub's analysis, D.C. has the 3rd highest "industry variety" in the country, meaning that job seekers in all fields and industries have a good chance at landing a gig here.
