Workers in the D.C. metro area are the third-happiest in the country, after San Jose and San Francisco.
That's according to Glassdoor.com's second annual Employment Satisfaction Report Card, which pulls data from Glassdoor's site on employee satisfaction, number of employers hiring, business outlook, career opportunities, and compensation and benefits over the past 12 months.
With many employers looking to fill positions in D.C., with pay being relatively high (at least among the set likely to use Glassdoor) and with D.C. attracting people who seem to really, really love their jobs, it makes sense that our ranking is so high. Check out the full list
