D.C. has been cited as one of the most energy-efficient cities in the country in a new report from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).
D.C. ranked 7th out of the 34 most populous cities, behind Boston, Portland, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Austin.
The report cited D.C.'s forward thinking in the areas of building policies and its Sustainable DC initiative.
