According to GQ's food critic Alan Richman, both Daikaya and Casa Luca are among the 25 best new restaurants in America.
"Casa Luca is a subtlety sophisticated, exceptionally appealing restaurant with white-tile walls, comfy seating, fifties music, and black-and-white photos. Fabio Trabocchi, the chef and owner, calls it a casual Italian spot, but I thought it was spiffier than that,..." he writes.
At Daikaya, the brunch is dubbed "absolutely unfamiliar food, the most extraordinary I’ve seen."
