The Airedale, a europub and beer garden, appears to be replacing the defunct Mad Momos at 3605 14
th Street NW, south of Spring Road, the blog New Columbia Heights
reports. The owners expect to get Airedale's website up and running July 1 and to open in August, NCH
later found. It is currently getting its licenses and staff in order. There will be 15 lines of beers and pub cuisine. Mad Momos closed in January and the premises have been vacant until NCH noticed a small sign in the door announcing the new tenant. The two-story building of approximately 2,300 square feet has hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. The restaurant seats up to 97; an outdoor patio on 14th Street seats 19. There are two outdoor decks, both on the second floor.
