Brewmaster Studios, a new arts and humanities center in Dupont Circle, has opened in the carriage house of the Heurich House Museum, the museum announced. The studios, at 1921 Sunderland Place NW, offer work space for artists, artisans and scholars.
It will participate in First Fridays, Art All Night and the Heurich House Museum’s annual Christmas artisan market. Current studio occupants include the non-profit Stone Soup Films, Mallory ShelterJewelry, Matine leather goods, Sea Heart City Press, Danish artist Rikke Kuhn Riegels, and the museum consultancy of Brent G. Glass, director emeritus of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. The Heurich House Museum is located at 1307 New Hampshire Avenue.
