Fort Totten Square is nearly done, developer JBG announced in a press release.
Leasing has begun on the 345 apartments at the mixed-use project at 300 Riggs Road NE, which is a 10-minute walk from the Fort Totten metro. Those apartments include studios starting at $1,600; one-bedrooms at $1,750; and two-bedrooms at $2,400.
Construction on the retail portion of the project is ongoing. Walmart is a tenant and negotiations are underway with two retailers: a national pet store and a restaurant.
