D.C. ranked ninth on a list of "drunkest cities" compiled by the Daily Beast late last year.
According to the stats compiled by the Daily Beast, from Experian Marketing Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the average D.C. adult consumes 15.6 alcoholic beverages per month.
